A few issue ago we ran a feature on Sophie Simpson, the talented designer behind What Delilah Did.
Sophie's gorgeous vintage-stlye designs take you back to an elegant era of chandeliers and afternoon tea, but with a delightfully modern twist. Needles to say, we totally fell in love with them. In fact we were so inspired by her work we asked her to come back and do an exclusive project for us.
Here it is, in all it's luxurious and elegant glory. Isn't it stunning?
Birds, bees and bugs have all graced the pages of various interior design magazines over the last year, but now it's the turn of the dragonfly to shine.
You'll find this beautiful project with chart and full making-up instructions in CrossStitcher issue 249 - on sale 25th January.
Find out more about What Delilah Did on Sophie's blog whatdelilahdid.typepad.com.
Plus, keep a lookout for her kits which you'll find gracing the shelves in Liberty's too.
Missed Sophie's interview in issue 247?
No worries. The single issue is still available from our back issues store.
