There's just a week to go until our September issue (213) hits the shelves, and so we thought we'd treat you to a sneaky preview of some of the exciting projects we've got in store for you. It's such a jam-packed issue, that we couldn't fit them all in, so here are five of our favourites…

We all love a good picnic and what's more, we all love cute woodland animals. So, there's no way we couldn't resist combining the two to create this oh-so-adorable picnic setting, designed by Lucie Heaton.

Our pair of on-trend retro deers look so pretty mixed with pistachio green fabrics, aqua cotton and white pom pom trim and there's plenty of making-up ideas in this months issue.

Why not try your hand at using soluble canvas and stitch the small floral motifs straight onto a cotton cushion cover like we have? It's such a simple way to get a really professional finish.
